This Department supports, governs and monitors the performance of Enterprise Ireland in delivering its suite of programmes and investments aimed at developing a sustainable indigenous enterprise base.
Enterprise Ireland (EI) is the state agency responsible for supporting the development of manufacturing and internationally traded services companies.
EI provide funding and supports for companies - from entrepreneurs with business propositions for a high potential start-up through to large companies expanding their activities, improving efficiency and growing international sales.
The EI Liaison Unit is responsible for managing all matters relating to the provision of Financial and Human Resources to Enterprise Ireland (EI), helping the Agency to deliver on a range of programmes designed to achieve the high-level strategic goals of the Department. In addition, the Unit acts as the interface between EI and the Political system, ensuring EI’s respective activities are in line with Government policy through ongoing monitoring and reporting on the performance of EI, as required.
