Notice to Importers of Steel and Aluminium Products

The European Union Import Licensing system for imports of certain Steel1 and Aluminium2 products (Prior Union Surveillance), will expire on 15 May 2020 and will not be renewed.

Shipments of goods, previously within the scope of the Regulations, arriving into the European Union after midnight on Friday, 15 May 2020 will no longer require a Surveillance document before being released by Revenue-Customs for free circulation in the Single Market.
