    COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) 2018/1922 of 10 October 2018 amending Council Regulation (EC) No 428/2009 setting up a Community regime for the control of exports, transfer, brokering and transit of dual-use items was published in the EU Official Journal on 14th of December 2018.

Brokering Activities, Goods and Technology

The Control of Exports (Brokering Activities, Goods and Technology) Order 2018 – SI No 356 of 2018, imposes a licensing requirement in respect of brokering activities involving persons and entities negotiating or arranging transactions that may involve the transfer of items or technology listed on the EU Common Military List, or who buy, sell or arrange the transfer of items or technology listed on the EU Common Military List that are in their ownership:  

  1. from a non-EU country to a non-EU country;   
  2. from Ireland to a non-EU country;   
  3. from another EU Member State to a non-EU country.
