Scheme for Accreditation of Research Organisations (Documentation and Application Form)

Council Directive 2005/71/EC* regarding admission of third-country nationals for the purposes of scientific research: Scheme for Accreditation of Research Organisations.

Research Organisations wishing to renew their Accreditation as a Research Organisation for the purposes of Council Directive 2005/71/EC following expiry of their initial accreditation period (usually 5 years) may do so as long as they continue to comply with the criteria and terms and conditions of the scheme.

Once accredited, a Research Organisation can then register for the ‘Fast Track Work Permit for R&D Employees’ through the Hosting Agreement process operated by EURAXESS Ireland on behalf of this department. Further details on this process can be obtained by visiting:
