Today (Wednesday, 23rd May) Minister Heather Humphreys, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, officially opened two new flexible workspace and co-working locations in Dublin 2, created by Glandore at a cost of €2 million.
A family business established in 2001, Glandore is Ireland’s leading provider of flexible workspace. The additional 300 desk spaces in both Fitzwilliam Court and 24 Fitzwilliam Place brings their capacity to over 2,500 desks, across 8 locations in Dublin and Belfast.
Minister Humphreys, welcomed to the new work spaces by Glandore founder, Michael Kelly, said: "A ready supply of quality office space is a key part of ensuring that the Irish economy continues to grow and prosper. I commend Glandore for opening this 300-desk facility in Dublin today, which will greatly help in meeting the needs of growing businesses in Ireland. Some of our country’s most dynamic and celebrated multinationals began their life in Glandore’s workspace. They include Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox and, current members, Autodesk. Michael Kelly and his family are highly attuned to the needs of Irish companies that want to grow and scale, together with foreign enterprises that are establishing their first office in Ireland."
Fitzwilliam Court and 24 Fitzwilliam Place offer a range of amenities, designed to cater for every requirement, from solo entrepreneurs to rapidly scaling companies with tens of employees. Together with desk space, Glandore offers private offices, meeting and event spaces, on-site catering, club rooms and lounges, showers, lockers, a Wellness programme and a dynamic Networking & Events schedule.
